The linear motor axis we supply is part of a gantry robot used in beverage filling processes.
The robot used in the packaging process ensures that the bottles are inserted into the beverage crates after they have been filled. In order to meet the high requirements of the food industry, the axis was equipped with a stainless steel base profile and coated linear guideways. A linear motor with IP 65 protection class was used as the drive. The installed permanent magnets were encapsulated by an additional stainless steel band. This provides the best possible protection for the precision axis against direct contact with aggressive cleaning agents.
